Claritas Classical Memory Program

Taking a classical approach which focuses on the grammar stage of the trivium, the foundation of this class is the Claritas Memory Work Guide/CrossSeven Cycle 4 (The Victorian Era through September 11, 2001). The Memory Work Guide/CrossSeven covers 28 separate grammar pegs for the following subjects: Hymns, Scripture, English Grammar, Latin, Math, History, Geography, Timeline, and Science. Each week the students will memorize the grammar peg for each of the subjects for that week. New memory work will be introduced on Mondays and reviewed on Wednesdays. Students will be expected to work on the Claritas Memory Work/CrossSeven at home on non-class days. The following core subjects will be taught on Mondays and Wednesdays with homework required on the other days of the week: Language Arts (reading, vocabulary, grammar, writing, penmanship, phonics, literature, and Latin), Math, History, Science, Art, and Music. These courses will follow a classical method of teaching, keeping in mind the grammar stage of learning and centering around Claritas Memory Work/CrossSeven Cycle 4.

Parent involvement at home is required.
